Are you busy? Welcome to the club! In our hurried culture, many things fight to grab our attention. Go, go, go. Do, do, do. CRASH and wonder if any of it was worth it! That’s been the cycle of my personal experience.
After years of longing for personal fulfillment, I realized that God is much more concerned with who we are becoming than us showing up to every event and exhausting ourselves with tasks that He never asked us to do.
By picking up this devotion, you too are questioning whether or not the things you are doing nurture the becoming you want to see. I want to encourage you that you’re making a wise choice today to make time to learn, grow, and even ask questions that can change your focus and shape your future.
Plan to spend ten minutes each day reading and focusing on your daily devotion. Invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you as you do so. Your reflection and journaling time can take as little time or as much time as you want!
Let’s face it, that to-do list isn’t going anywhere, but you are! You are worth investing in, and it is my honor to be a voice of encouragement in your life. May you begin to see what God sees as you look into the mirror. God likes His creation, and He has so much in store for you! Take a breath and become all you were made to be.
