If you don’t love well, tip well, honor well when no one knows who you are, what makes you think that the pressures from the spotlight will pull something better out of you?

If you won’t submit to your boss who pays your bills, what makes you think you'll listen to God who gave you your will?

…every time I turn around God directs me to do things that seem to be counterintuitive to my calling and needs. I want to see more, but he says the way to more is less.

Being a good mom is hard. It requires trust in the Lord. It requires confidence to keep getting up when we feel so worn down. It requires determination to keep doing the right things that will produce fruit when the season is right.

Wait will come and stay longer than we want it to, but worry in the wait no longer weighs me down. Worship leads the way and carries me through the valley. None of us know what tomorrow holds, however, we do have a gift in today, in the presence of God, trusting the endless possibilities of wonder he has prepared for our futures.

Through this type of living I’ve learned how to trust God, hear Him, lean on Him and not put my worth in moving targets.
